Sera Wild Coffee Shines at Namukekera Liao Kapeeka Trade Show with Coffee-on-Wheels Innovation

Sera Wild Coffee made a remarkable impact during the Namukekera Liao Kapeeka Trade Show and Bazaar, held on the 27th and 28th of September 2024. Our innovative Coffee-on-Wheels product drew widespread attention and praise from visitors and government officials alike. The exhibit not only showcased the unique flavor profiles of our coffee but also aligned perfectly with Uganda’s industrialization agenda, as emphasized by His Excellency, President Yoweri Museveni.

The President’s message during the event centered on the importance of adding value to Uganda’s raw materials as a critical pillar of the country’s industrialization strategy. He highlighted that Uganda’s economic transformation depends on processing and value addition to agricultural products, which allows the country to become competitive on the global stage. At Sera Wild Coffee, we are proud to contribute to this vision by offering premium roasted coffee, sourced from the fertile lands of Mount Elgon, which is sold in various roast profiles light, medium, and dark.

Our Coffee-on-Wheels concept is designed to bring premium Ugandan coffee directly to consumers in an accessible and modern way. This innovative mobile café offers freshly brewed Sera Wild Coffee on the go, providing a convenient experience for coffee lovers and promoting locally roasted Ugandan coffee beans. Our exhibit during the trade show featured live demonstrations of our coffee preparation process, allowing attendees to experience the rich aroma and flavor of Sera Wild Coffee firsthand.

On the final day of the trade show, we were honored to host the Kampala Affairs State Minister, Hon. Kabuye Kyofatogabye, at our exhibit. Minister Kabuye commended Sera Wild Coffee for our innovative approach to coffee distribution and value addition, praising our efforts as a key contributor to Uganda’s industrialization strategy. He noted that enterprises like ours are leading the charge in creating products that reflect the government’s vision of adding value to raw agricultural goods, creating jobs, and boosting the economy.

The Namukekera Liao Kapeeka Trade Show and Bazaar provided an excellent platform for Sera Wild Coffee to engage with stakeholders in Uganda’s coffee industry, including farmers, coffee enthusiasts, and policymakers. Through our Coffee-on-Wheels initiative, we continue to advocate for the promotion of Uganda’s coffee both locally and internationally, proving that innovation in value addition can elevate our coffee sector to new heights.

As we move forward, Sera Wild Coffee remains committed to supporting the country’s development by creating value-driven products and pushing the boundaries of Uganda’s coffee industry. We are inspired by the President’s call to action and will continue to align our efforts with Uganda’s broader industrialization strategy, one cup of coffee at a time.
